The Hacking Simulator lets you run the whole break-in yourself, one click at a time: acquire a target, scan it for open ports, land an exploit, escalate to root, then exfiltrate the data — six staged steps with live progress bars, a compromise map and a scrolling activity log. It looks like a movie hack because you drive it, but nothing is real: every target, IP, port and file is invented, and all addresses use the RFC 5737 documentation ranges.
What makes Intrusion different
Unlike the Hacker Typer, which reacts to your keypresses, or the Hacker Terminal, which runs itself with no input, the Hacking Simulator is a staged game you advance by choosing each step — target, scan, exploit, escalate, exfiltrate, own. It is the offensive counterpart to Breach Response, which plays the defending SOC side of the same story. Reach for this one when you want to play the hacker, not just watch a screen.
What you can do with it
- Play an interactive “hack the mainframe” bit on camera for YouTube, TikTok or a stream — advance a stage on cue
- A fake-hacking prank: hand a friend the keyboard and let them click through a convincing break-in
- A staged cyber-attack demo for videos, talks or set dressing — walk an audience from recon to root
How to use Intrusion
- Press the stage buttons in order — Acquire, Scan, Exploit, Escalate, Exfiltrate, Own — or number keys 1–6; each one advances the attack and updates the progress bars, compromise map and log.
- Keys 7–9 fire flavour beats — pivot to a subnet, deploy a payload and wipe the logs — without changing the current stage.
- Open Customize to name the operator and target, set the target IP and node count, and tune the auto-progression speed.
- Press Fullscreen (or add ?present=1) to hide the controls, or turn on auto mode to let it walk itself from target to OWNED on a loop.
Customize it
Set the toolkit title, the operator and target names, the target IP (RFC 5737) and the number of target nodes, and the auto-progression speed.
Is this real hacking?
No. Nothing connects, scans or runs — every target, port, exploit and file is scripted fiction, and all IP addresses use the RFC 5737 documentation ranges. It is a visual effect you click through, not a tool.
How is it different from the Hacker Typer and Hacker Terminal?
The Hacker Typer reveals code as you mash keys and the Hacker Terminal auto-runs a busy terminal with no input. The Hacking Simulator is the interactive, staged version — you choose each step of the break-in (scan, exploit, escalate, exfiltrate) and watch the attack advance.
Can I use it to prank someone?
Yes — go fullscreen, hand over the keyboard and let them click through the stages. Nothing is installed, connected or harmed; it is a harmless visual prop.
Is this a hacking prank or a real hacking tool?
It is a harmless hacking-interface prank — a staged system hack you click through, not a real tool. Nothing connects, scans or runs; hand a friend the keyboard for a live hacking prank and let them click a system hack from scan to root.
