Broken Screen turns any display into a convincingly shattered one: tap or click anywhere and jagged cracks radiate out from the impact with a faint LCD colour-bleed, exactly like a genuinely smashed phone or monitor. Tap a few more times to spider the whole screen. Nothing is actually damaged — it is a full-screen drawing you can wipe clean in a single tap.
What makes Broken Screen different
Broken Screen is the hands-on prank: tap or click anywhere and jagged cracks radiate from that exact point, with a faint LCD colour-bleed, like a genuinely smashed panel. Unlike the deadpan crash and update pranks that just sit there, this one reacts to every touch — and on a phone it can buzz on impact. One tap wipes it clean.
What you can do with it
- Prank a friend — leave it fullscreen on their phone or monitor and watch the panic
- A realistic “cracked screen” reveal for videos, skits and reaction clips
- A harmless jump-scare on a spare screen or TV
How to use Broken Screen
- Tap or click anywhere on the screen — each tap adds a fresh shatter at that exact spot (on a phone it can buzz on impact).
- Press number keys 1–4 (or the action buttons) — SHATTER adds one impact, QUAKE adds several at once, TINT cycles the crack colour, REPAIR clears everything.
- In Customize, pick the crack tint, set the fracture intensity, and choose whether to start with one impact already on screen.
- Press Fullscreen (or add ?present=1), hand the phone over, and let them panic — Repair or a reload undoes it instantly.
Customize it
Choose the crack colour (ice, white, emerald, amber or magenta), set the fracture size and branchiness, start pre-cracked or clean, and toggle the on-tap vibration (mobile).
Is my screen actually cracked?
No. The cracks are drawn on a full-screen canvas — your display is completely fine. Press Repair (or reload the page) and every crack disappears instantly.
How do I use it on a phone?
Open the page on the phone, press Fullscreen, then hand it over. Each tap adds a fresh shatter, and it can buzz on impact where the device supports vibration.
